During this period, large crowds of people will flock to the various towns and districts to visit and discover, giving us the chance to meet them. Here are a few ideas to help you organize sharing projects:

  1. Sharing and awareness campaign: Organize sharing meetings in the neighborhoods, for residents and visitors, to share our values and beliefs.
  2. Distribution of literature or inspirational messages: Distribute tracts, books or inspirational messages that share God’s love during this global event.
  3. Inter-religious encounters and inter-cultural dialogues: Organizing inter-religious events or inter-cultural dialogues that encourage understanding, respect and collaboration between different faiths and cultures can be a way of promoting peace and goodwill during the Games.

Projections

During the Games, the assembly can choose to project different types of content or programs to engage with its congregation, neighborhood (neighborhood) and visitors in meaningful ways. Here are a few ideas for screenings the church might consider:

  1. Broadcasting Olympic events: Organize live or pre-recorded screenings of competitions to enable members of the congregation, neighborhood and visitors to watch sporting events together and create a friendly atmosphere in support of the athletes. Click here to find out more.
  2. Inspirational messages: Broadcast inspirational messages linked to Games values such as perseverance, teamwork, discipline, respect and excellence to encourage and motivate the audience during this special period.
  3. Testimonials and sharing: Share testimonials from Christian athletes, Christian films, stories of perseverance in faith and sport, showing how spirituality can positively influence the lives of athletes and society.
  4. Documentaries on the history of the Games: Show documentaries or videos retracing the history of the Games, highlighting memorable moments, the values promoted and the Games’ impact on the world.
  5. Showing the Jesus film: Show the film about the life of Jesus Christ, to inspire and create an opportunity to share the good news with the neighborhood and visitors, giving them a chance to ask questions.

These screenings can be held on assembly premises, in community spaces or even outdoors to offer visitors a welcoming and engaging experience during the Games. The aim is to create an environment conducive to celebrating, inspiring and sharing the universal values promoted by the Games.
